About me

Chine Labbe profile picture

I am a French multimedia journalist currently enrolled in a dual degree program between the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the Journalism School of Sciences Po., in Paris. I report on various platforms using my audio, video, photo and writing skills.

I am particularly interested in international affairs, and I have reported in several countries including Chile, Greece, Morocco and Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Before moving to New York, I wrote for French websites lefigaro.fr and lemonde.fr and contributed to French national radio France Culture. I also contributed to several blogs, such as Yes We Cannes, and MuniParis. At Sciences Po., in Paris, I was the editor in chief of a student-run international affairs publication called The Paris Globalist, part of Global21, a network of international-affairs magazine founded at Yale in 2005.

In November, I won the 2009 Anna Lindh Journalist Award for a ten-minute radio piece about Palestinian lawyers aired on France Culture in June.
